reasons why FWD suxs.....civics arent bad daily cars that can be made decently quick...but as for an all out drag car...its a waste of money...a autoX/SCCA car is a lil different tho

for auto-x: stock, they suck, their PAX index allows them to compete. a stock civic EG hatch like what's shown is an H-stock car. a car like a corvette z06 is an SS(super stock). class for class all out the vette handles better and pwn3s in the straights. but when the index is filtered in if the same driver were to drive both cars he should in theory come out damn near exactly the same.

in modified classes there are no limitations, sooooo if you wanna do better in modified class auto x you better have a better effing chassis than an EG hatch. buy something with a wide wheel base, put on the fattest tires possible, do some engine tuning to get the wide stanced car with fat tires to make somewhere in the range of 300 to 400 whp, and learn how to take a corner and you'll be a champ.

Hondas can be fast for drag. Just have to be setup properly. Don't go saying FWD sucks because it doesn't hook. It's better to have some spin than to have dead hook, because it'll bog.

Honda's have my respect because if they're properly built they're very fast cars.
